The new Daawat Rozana campaign, 'Har Din Baney Perfect', stars chef Ranveer Brar and sells consistent basmati rice through a family argument about exam marks. The film for LT Foods is by BBDO India and went up on the Daawat YouTube channel on 26 October.

  • Brand: Daawat Rozana, from LT Foods
  • Campaign: 'Har Din Baney Perfect'
  • Agency: BBDO India
  • Talent: Chef, author and TV host Ranveer Brar

The Daawat Rozana Campaign Film

At the family dinner table, a mother asks her son Rohan why his exam scores keep swinging. Rohan points out that the rice at home is no different: fluffy one day, sticky the next. Brar then steps in to introduce Daawat Rozana as an upgrade from loose basmati, carefully selected so it cooks the same from Monday to Sunday. The film closes on the line 'Har Din Baney Perfect' and cuts back to the table, where the rice gets full marks from the boy.

What LT Foods Said

"Rice is an everyday staple, but getting it right every time is a real household challenge. We took that insight and gave it a fun, memorable twist by drawing a parallel between unpredictable test scores and unpredictable rice," said Ritesh Sud, chief marketing officer, India and Far East, LT Foods. "The result is a campaign that makes a functional benefit highly relatable and reinforces Daawat Rozana as the go-to choice for everyday perfect basmati rice."

"Daawat Rozana is an important part of this journey, enabling us to strengthen our presence in everyday rice consumption and bring more consumers into the branded packaged rice category," said Ritesh Arora, CEO, India and Far East, LT Foods. He said the company is focused on value propositions across consumer segments and price points, and on driving greater penetration of branded packaged basmati.

Where to Buy

LT Foods said Daawat Rozana is available across e-commerce, quick commerce, modern trade and general trade. Brar was first named a Daawat ambassador in August, for a Daawat Delight campaign.

The film is on the Daawat YouTube channel.
