Flipkart Minutes Brings Ramsay Brothers Horror To The Delivery Wait

Flipkart Minutes has teamed up with the Ramsay Brothers on The Last Delivery, a three-part Halloween horror miniseries built to run exactly as long as the app's 10-minute order-tracking window, in a campaign by McCann India.

  • Brand: Flipkart Minutes
  • Agency: McCann India, part of Omnicom Advertising India
  • Property: The Last Delivery, three 10-minute episodes
  • Director: Deepak Tulsi Ramsay; writer: Gopal Ramsay

How The Last Delivery Works

Each episode runs 10 minutes, the length of the delivery tracking window. Once customers place an order, they can watch through the Play screen on the app, turning a passive wait into something to watch, and every episode ends on a cliffhanger. The series is available to anyone ordering on Flipkart Minutes from 25 October.

The Teaser: A Chudail Riding Pillion

The campaign opened with a sighting built to make people look twice: a chudail, the witch of Indian folklore, riding pillion behind a Flipkart Minutes delivery agent who goes about his ride entirely unaware of his co-passenger. The video drew curiosity and speculation online before the brand revealed what it was for.

Why Flipkart Minutes Went To The Ramsay Brothers

Halloween is gaining ground among younger Indians but remains unfamiliar to generations who did not grow up with it. The Ramsay Brothers are the opposite: their haunted havelis, chudails, grotesque creatures, gory visuals and sinister music defined horror for Indian audiences across generations. Borrowing that legacy gives an imported festival a reference point most Indian households already share.

It is also a neat answer to a quick-commerce problem. Ten-minute delivery leaves a short, empty gap between ordering and the doorbell, and a show cut precisely to that gap gives customers a reason to keep the app open while the order travels.

The work was created by McCann India, with production by Ramsay House of Horror and Potli Baba Media House. The creative team included Rahul Mathew, Iraj Fraz, Sourabh Dubey, Faraaz Ansari and Fatema Morbiwala, with Dheeraj Sinha, Hari Krishnan and Monideepa Nandi on business.
