Nippon Paint To Be Official Paint Partner Of MG Indian Super League

The Nippon Paint ISL partnership will make Nippon Paint the Official Paint Partner of the MG Indian Super League, under a proposed multi-year deal that also extends to 11 of the league's clubs.
- Brand: Nippon Paint India
- Property: MG Indian Super League
- Role: Official Paint Partner, plus select club partnerships
- Term: Proposed multi-year partnership
What The Nippon Paint ISL Deal Covers
Two layers. At league level, Nippon Paint becomes the ISL's Official Paint Partner. Below that, the deal extends to Chennaiyin FC, Churchill Brothers FC, East Bengal FC, FC Goa, Inter Kashi FC, Kerala Blasters FC, Mumbai City FC, NorthEast United FC, Odisha FC, Punjab FC and Sporting Club Delhi.
The club tie-ups are the more interesting half. A league deal buys national visibility; club deals buy a way into regional fan bases and local football communities, which matter for a category sold largely through local dealers.
What Each Side Said
"Football brings together diverse communities through a shared love for the game, making it a powerful platform to engage with fans across the country," said Mark Titus, president, decorative coatings business, Nippon Paint India.
"As we continue to build the league and strengthen its commercial ecosystem, partnerships with leading brands are integral to our growth," said Karan Yadav, CEO, Indian Super League, adding that the association would open new avenues for fan engagement.
Part Of A Wider Sports Portfolio
The tie-up builds on Nippon Paint's existing presence across Indian sport, with partnerships spanning cricket, football, kabaddi, volleyball and international sporting events. The two sides say they will explore fan engagement initiatives and brand experiences around the league and its clubs.
Financial terms and the exact length of the deal were not disclosed, and the partnership is still described as proposed, so the detail of what Nippon Paint gets on matchdays is yet to come.
