Motorola has launched Motorollers, its official community app, on the Google Play Store and opened it to all Android users rather than only Motorola owners. The app is built around interest-led groups that Motorola calls tribes.

  • Brand: Motorola
  • App: Motorollers, the official Motorola community
  • Availability: Google Play Store, for all Android users
  • Interests: AI, photography, travel, gaming, sports and lifestyle

How Motorollers Works

Users join tribes built around their interests, each with its own profiles, content, discussions and community identity. Posts come in three formats: Vibe Check for polls, Hot Take for opinions and Deep Dive for longer articles.

Brand channels carry Motorola announcements, product launches, offers, discounts and coupons, alongside interactive campaigns, polls and community-led initiatives. Motorola's retail partners and promoters take part as community experts. The app's promise is "Be a Motoroller", with the line "Connect. Share. Discover."

On Google Play, Motorollers is described as a place to connect, share, discover and belong to the official Motorola community. Its sections include Share Your World, Find Your Tribe, Build Your Community, Discover Your Feed and Make Your Voice Heard.

Rewards Are Coming Later

A rewards programme is planned for future phases and could include partner-led benefits and exclusive experiences for members. Motorola has not said when it will launch.

What Motorola Said

T. M. Narasimhan, managing director of Motorola India, said the platform is meant to build stronger relationships with consumers through engagement, collaboration and shared experiences, and to give users, fans and enthusiasts a space to share their passions, exchange ideas and connect with each other.

Why Motorollers Matters

Phone brands in India usually rely on social platforms and fan forums to talk to their users. An owned app gives Motorola its own channel for launches and offers, and opening it to every Android user lets it reach people who own rival phones. On Google Play, the app's developer is listed as The Marcom Avenue.
