Lenskart Opens evolv, Its First Concept Flagship Store, In Worli

Lenskart evolv, the eyewear brand's first concept flagship store in India, has opened at Worli, Mumbai, unveiled by chairman and chief executive officer Peyush Bansal as the first of a limited set of similar stores planned for the future.
- Brand: Lenskart
- Format: Lenskart evolv, a concept flagship store
- Location: Trade View, Utopia City, Pandurang Budhkar Marg, Worli, Mumbai
- Technology: AI-assisted eye testing, remote optometrist consultations and a digital shopping assistant
What Lenskart evolv Is
A store built around the idea of "Vision Beyond Retail". The chrome-finished interior is designed to turn shopping for glasses into a process of discovery, presenting eyewear as self-expression and culture rather than a functional purchase. The store makes its environment part of the customer journey in a category traditionally centred on choosing a frame and paying for it.
The Technology Inside
The experience pairs AI-assisted eye testing and remote optometrist consultations with a digital shopping assistant for browsing the collection, supported by in-store technology including Tango Eye.
"At Lenskart, technology has always been central to reimagining what's possible in eyewear, and with Lenskart evolv, we are extending that thinking to the retail experience itself," said Bansal. He described the store as "the first expression of a broader vision for concept eyewear retail."
Why A Concept Store Now
Lenskart built its scale through an omnichannel network of standard stores and an app with AI recommendations and 3D try-on. A small number of flagship stores with a distinct design does a different job: it gives the brand a place to be seen as fashion rather than as a utility, which matters for a brand selling style as much as prescriptions.
The launch evening brought guests from fashion, media, creator and entrepreneurial circles to the store for a live window display, the Lenskart humanoid, a Polaroid photo booth and personalised eyewear cases. The store is now open to customers.
