OktoBuzz Wins Social Media Mandate For Tata Crucible Quiz

OktoBuzz has won the social media mandate for Tata Crucible Quiz, the business quiz for campus and corporate participants. The Mumbai-based brand consultancy and integrated communications agency will manage the quiz's digital presence.
- Agency: OktoBuzz, Mumbai
- Client: Tata Crucible Quiz
- Scope: Social media content, digital presence and community engagement
- Goal: A year-round online community of students and professionals
What OktoBuzz Will Do
OktoBuzz will develop social media content and community engagement aimed at both campus and corporate audiences. The brief is to build a year-round online community of students and working professionals, and to keep participation and engagement going beyond the annual quiz season.
Tata Crucible Quiz brings together participants from colleges and companies across India to compete on business knowledge and general awareness, and has run for more than two decades.
What OktoBuzz Said
"Tata Crucible Quiz has done something remarkable over the years. It has made knowledge aspirational and curiosity something worth celebrating," said Hemal Majithia, CEO and founder, OktoBuzz. "For us, the opportunity is to build on that legacy and bring the same spirit of curiosity, competition and discovery into everyday digital conversations. We want to create a space where young minds don't just consume content, but challenge themselves, exchange ideas and genuinely enjoy the pursuit of knowledge."
Why It Matters
Annual properties such as quizzes, awards and festivals tend to go quiet between editions. Turning a seasonal event into an always-on community gives the organiser a warmer audience when registrations open, and gives the brand behind it a reason to stay in touch with students and young professionals through the year.
The mandate covers both of the audiences the quiz is run for, campus teams and corporate participants. How it was awarded, its start date and any Tata comment have not been disclosed.
