A bottle of hair oil and a rising bar chart as halftone cutouts, for Bajaj Consumer Care crossing Rs 1,000 crore in revenue in FY2025-26

Bajaj Consumer Care has crossed the Rs 1,000 crore revenue mark for the first time, reporting consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 1,153.4 crore in FY2025-26, up 21.4 per cent year on year.

  • Consolidated EBITDA: Rs 224.4 crore, up 70.9 per cent, at a 19.5 per cent margin
  • Consolidated profit after tax: Rs 190.2 crore, up 51.8 per cent
  • Gross margin: 60.19 per cent, expanded by 659 basis points
  • Standalone: revenue Rs 1,080.9 crore, EBITDA Rs 228.9 crore, PAT Rs 193.7 crore, EPS Rs 14.48
  • Also completed: a Rs 186.6 crore share buyback, with the company net-debt-free

What Drove The Bajaj Consumer Care Turnaround

Profitability grew far faster than revenue, which is the more interesting half of the result. Gross margin expanded 659 basis points to 60.19 per cent on revenue management, a stronger product mix and cost optimisation, and EBITDA rose 70.9 per cent against a 21.4 per cent revenue increase.

Bajaj Almond Drops Hair Oil remained the key driver, growing in the twenties and outpacing the company overall. Low-unit-price packs helped volumes, including sachets and the pilot Rs 2 Extra Poshan packs in Odisha and Jharkhand. The non-core growth portfolio crossed Rs 225 crore in annual sales, with a Rs 500 crore target over the next three years, and the coconut oil portfolio reached more than one crore households. Notably, the company launched Bajaj Gold Enriched Coconut Hair Oil in 12 days in response to raw material cost pressure and GST changes.

The Distribution Work Underneath

Under Project Aarohan Phase 2 the company added 363 channel partners, converted 289 vans to direct-reach models and expanded reach by 41 per cent to 53,000 outlets across eight states. Phase 3 will extend into Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Punjab and Gujarat, targeting 15,000 additional direct outlets and 535 channel partners.

Separately, the acquisition of Vishal Personal Care, which owns Banjara's, completed its first full year. Through Project Vridhi the company has integrated its go-to-market across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, supported by more than 700 channel partners and 100,000 retail outlets. For a business that marked 15 years since listing and more than seven decades since founding, the year reads less like a growth spurt than a rebuilt distribution engine finally showing up in the numbers.
