Snapchat India Partners Qoruz To Open Its Creator Data To Brands

Snapchat India has partnered creator intelligence platform Qoruz to help brands discover, evaluate and identify relevant creators on the platform, combining Qoruz's data capabilities with Snapchat's creator ecosystem.
Partners: Snapchat India and Qoruz
Integration: Qoruz has built Snapchat creator discovery into its platform using Snapchat's Public Profile APIs
Effect: brands can explore Snapchat creators alongside those from other platforms Qoruz already tracks
Qoruz side: co-founder and chief executive Praanesh Bhuvaneswar
Snap side: Saibal Das Mahapatra, ecosystem partnerships, India
What The Snapchat India Integration Changes
Qoruz has integrated Snapchat creator discovery into its platform through Snapchat's Public Profile APIs, making Snapchat the latest addition to its existing API integrations across major social platforms in India. Brands can now explore Snapchat's creator ecosystem in the same search as everyone else they were already considering.
That sounds procedural and is not. Platforms that sit outside the standard discovery tools tend to get left out of shortlists by default, not by judgement, simply because building a separate process for one platform is work nobody does under a campaign deadline. Being inside the tool is often the difference between being considered and not.
Why Follower Counts Stopped Being Enough
Qoruz co-founder and chief executive Praanesh Bhuvaneswar said brands increasingly want to understand who a creator speaks to rather than simply how many people watch them, and described Snapchat's rapidly expanding creator ecosystem in India as a natural extension of the company's creator intelligence work.
Saibal Das Mahapatra, who leads Snap ecosystem partnerships in India, said creators play an increasingly important role in how consumers discover brands, products and ideas, and that the partnership makes it easier for brands to explore Snapchat creators while giving them better intelligence to identify suitable partners. As creator marketing takes a larger share of brand budgets, the problem has shifted from finding creators with large audiences to identifying creators whose audience, content and influence are actually relevant to a given campaign. Snapchat's position with younger audiences is the argument for being in that consideration set.
