Singapore Airlines has named Aswin K as General Manager, India, effective 1 August 2026.

  • New role: General Manager, India, based in Mumbai
  • Succession: Takes over from Sy Yen Chen, who held the role for more than five years
  • Previous role: General Manager, Italy, based in Milan, since 2024
  • Tenure: Over 12 years with Singapore Airlines, joining in 2014 as an Aviation Network Analyst before roles including Regional Marketing Manager - West Asia and Africa, State Manager for Karnataka and Telangana, and General Manager - Gulf and Middle East

Aswin said he was "honoured to lead Singapore Airlines' operations in one of the world's fastest-growing aviation markets," adding that he looks forward to "connecting with our customers, travel trade partners and industry stakeholders as we continue to strengthen our presence across the country."
