The Skipper Pipes Film
Instead of product-led messaging, the film uses humour and imaginative damp patches to give seepage the personality of an enthusiastic traveller. It follows the damp from one corner of the house to another, turning a familiar household worry into an unwelcome adventure, and ends on the point that the right pipes help keep it out. The film is live on Skipper's digital and social platforms.
What Dentsu Creative Isobar Said
Abhijat Bharadwaj, chief creative officer, Dentsu Creative Isobar, said the category keeps talking about pipes that last for years, but people never see the pipe, they see the wall. "So we stopped selling the pipe and started saving the wall," he said. The idea came from the habit of spotting shapes in clouds, applied to the strange shapes people see in damp walls.
What Skipper Said
Siddharth Bansal, director, Skipper Limited, said seepage slowly takes away from the joy of a home, affecting its look and the pride that comes with it, and that protecting a home starts with the right choices at the foundation. GS Sainath, chief business officer, Skipper Pipes, said homeowners spend a lot of time choosing walls, finishes and interiors, while the plumbing behind them matters just as much.
