Saurav Bhattacharjee has joined Greenply | Samet as chief marketing officer. He announced the move on LinkedIn, saying he is "starting a new position" at the company.

Saurav Bhattacharjee's Career
Bhattacharjee joins from Orient Electric, where he was deputy general manager, consumer lighting, from October 2025. Before that he spent nearly seven years at Wipro Lighting as product category lead, indoor and channel marketing.
He has also held marketing and product roles at Tega Industries, Hafele India and HELLA India Lighting. He began his career at Hindware in 2010 as a junior product manager.
The Company
Greenply is a plywood and interior infrastructure company. The 'Greenply | Samet' name refers to its partnership with Samet, the Turkish maker of furniture hardware, in which Greenply has a joint venture for fittings in India. Greenply has not issued a statement, and his start date and reporting line have not been disclosed.
