Who Are Advertising's Next 50?

Ask anyone who has run an agency where the next ten years of the business will come from, and the answer is rarely a strategy document. It is a person. Usually someone in their twenties who has already been handed more responsibility than their title suggests, and who handled it better than anyone expected.

The Next 50 is an attempt to find those people and name them. It is a single national class of fifty advertising professionals, all under 30, chosen for the difference they have already made to the work and to the teams around them.

What makes the Next 50 different from a list

There is no ranking inside the class. Nobody is number one and nobody is number fifty. There are no category winners and no public vote. The fifty are chosen as one group, because the thing being recognised is not a single performance but a direction of travel: people whose careers are already shaping how the industry works.

Every eligible entry is read by the Ad Tribe editorial team, and the strongest are considered by an independent jury drawn from across the industry, from creative and strategy to media, design, PR, digital, production and agency leadership.

Not only the people with "creative" in their title

The most visible young talent in advertising tends to be the writers and art directors whose names appear on the credits. They belong here. So does everyone else whose work made those credits possible. The Next 50 is open across ten disciplines:

  • Creative, and Design and Craft
  • Strategy and Planning
  • Client Partnership
  • Social and Content
  • Media and Performance
  • PR and Communications
  • Production
  • Data, Tech and Innovation
  • People and Agency Culture

The planner who reframed a brief, the account manager who held a difficult client relationship together, the producer who delivered a shoot nobody thought could be done, the media planner who found an audience the brand had missed: these are the people a class like this is built to find.

Why now

Careers in advertising are being compressed. Tools have changed, teams are leaner, and people are being asked to lead earlier than any previous generation. Many of them are doing it well, quietly, without the recognition that usually arrives a decade later with a senior title. The Next 50 exists to close that gap and to put names to the work while the people behind it are still near the start.

Who can be part of the Class of 2026

Anyone working in India's advertising and marketing communications industry who is under 30 on 31 August 2026 is eligible. Managers and agencies can nominate the people they believe deserve it, and eligible professionals can enter themselves. The class will be revealed on 3 December 2026 at The Next 50 Recognition Evening, where each member receives The Next 50 trophy.

Somewhere in your agency is a person the whole team quietly relies on. The Class of 2026 is looking for them.

Nominations for The Next 50, Class of 2026 are open. Nominate someone who deserves it, or enter yourself, at adtribe.world/events/the-next-50. Entries close 15 November 2026.
