Concept PR India has appointed Sahban Kohari as group head, looking after clients in the BFSI and renewable energy sectors. He is based in Mumbai and started in October 2026.
- Agency: Concept PR India
- Role: Group head, BFSI and renewable energy clients
- Previously: PR and corporate reputation specialist, Eminence
- Experience: More than 19 years in public relations
Sahban Kohari's Record
Kohari spent the last five years at Eminence as a PR and corporate reputation specialist, from September 2021 to October 2026, handling mandates for clients in mutual funds, wealth advisory, family offices, ESG, ratings and manufacturing. His areas include public relations, crisis management and new business pitching.
Agency And Corporate Experience
Before Eminence he was corporate communications manager at Arvind Limited from 2015 to 2016, positioning the company in textiles and apparel brands. Earlier he was associate director at IPAN Hill+Knowlton Strategies, working on insurance clients and new business; public relations manager at Adfactors PR on mutual fund and life insurance clients; and senior consultant at Ketchum Sampark on the finance beat, covering wealth management, portfolio management, consumer finance, real estate private equity and insurance for clients including ASK Group, Bajaj Finance and Towers Watson.
He started on the corporate beat in telecom at Vaishnavi Corp. Communications, working with Tata Group's telecom ventures, CARE Ratings and the Confederation of Indian Industry, after beginning as a reporter on markets at Newswire18 in 2007.
Why It Fits
Financial services and renewable energy are both sectors where communication is closely watched by regulators and investors as well as customers. A group head who started in a markets newsroom and has spent most of his career on BFSI clients brings a familiarity with that scrutiny that is hard to teach.
"I'm happy to share that I'm starting a new position as group head," Kohari said in announcing the move.
