CheQ Appoints Rupal Rajal As Head Of Human Resources

CheQ has appointed Rupal Rajal as head of human resources, as the credit card management platform expands across the consumer credit space.
- Company: CheQ, credit card management platform
- Role: Head of human resources
- Previously: Led HR for the India business at Findem
- Experience: More than 14 years across fintech, technology, AI, SaaS, consulting and FMCG
Rupal Rajal's Background
Rajal most recently led HR for the India business at Findem while also driving global people initiatives. Before that she was director of HR at Jupiter and head of HR at Rupifi, with earlier roles at Kerry and Accenture.
At CheQ she will lead a people strategy aligned to business goals, covering building and scaling teams, strengthening leadership, talent development and a performance-driven culture.
Why CheQ Is Hiring Now
CheQ started as a credit card bill payment and rewards platform and now offers credit management, credit health insights, utility bill payments, AI-powered credit assistance through Wisor, lending and UPI payments.
"As CheQ continues to expand its offerings and build a more comprehensive credit ecosystem, having the right people, leadership and organisational culture becomes increasingly important," said Aditya Soni, founder and CEO of CheQ. "Rupal brings a strong combination of fintech experience, strategic HR leadership and a hands-on approach to building teams."
What She Said
"What excites me about CheQ is the opportunity to work at the intersection of fintech innovation and a rapidly evolving consumer credit ecosystem," said Rajal. "Having worked with businesses at different stages of growth, I believe that strong people practices, empowered leadership and a culture of ownership are essential to building enduring organisations."
For a fintech moving from one product to several, hiring is the constraint that decides how fast the new businesses can be built, which is why a senior people role often follows a widening of scope.
