Adobe has launched a unified plugin bringing more than 70 tools from its Creative Cloud and Document Cloud suite directly into ChatGPT, live globally from 7 August.
- Apps included: Photoshop, Firefly, Premiere, Acrobat, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Express and Adobe Stock
- Capabilities: Photo editing, video creation and reformatting, design customisation, PDF generation and template browsing, all inside the chat window
- Workflow: Users can access Creative Cloud files, save projects across sessions and export work back to the native Adobe app for advanced editing
- Availability: Rolled out globally across ChatGPT web and app from 7 August
"The Best Capabilities For The Task At Hand"
OpenAI product lead Vibhor Chhabra said the integration reflects a broader push to "connect our users with the best capabilities for the task at hand," with Adobe positioned as the first major creative suite to plug directly into ChatGPT. Adobe has said further chatbot integrations, including with Claude and Copilot, are planned, as the line between chat interfaces and standalone creative software continues to blur.
