Meta Tests Waddle World And Style Sketch, Two New AI Apps

Meta has released Waddle World, an AI pet journal, and Style Sketch, an AI outfit planner, as standalone apps in a small number of Asian markets. Neither app is available in India, and Meta has not made a formal announcement.
- Company: Meta Platforms
- Waddle World: AI pet journal, Philippines, iOS and Android, 18 and over
- Style Sketch: AI outfit planner, App Store in Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand
- Live since: Early October 2026
How Waddle World Works
Waddle World describes itself as a modern take on tamagotchi-style pet raising, with no streaks or scores. Users hold the mic and talk about their day, or type it, and the pet writes it up as a journal entry in its own voice with a hand-drawn doodle. The app adds weekly postcards, short games such as catching stars and stacking groceries, stamps to spend on the pet, and a daily question. Its store listing says users must be 18 or older.
How Style Sketch Works
Style Sketch builds a digital wardrobe from photos, videos, the camera roll or a linked Instagram account. It suggests outfits based on what the user owns, their body shape, skin tone and local weather, plans looks for each day of a trip, and lets users try outfits on a model matched to their body shape and skin tone. Its terms and privacy links point to Instagram's policies.
Why Meta Is Testing Small
Style Sketch went live on 2 October and Waddle World on 7 October, but both drew attention only in the last week of the month. Launching in a few markets lets Meta test consumer AI ideas outside its main apps before deciding whether to scale them. Meta has not said whether either app will come to India.
Both apps are free and listed under Meta Platforms on the App Store.
