FNP's Rakhi Brand Film Is Made Entirely With AI, No Physical Shoot

A frame from FNP's AI-generated Rakhi brand film

FNP (Ferns N Petals) has released a Rakhi brand film created entirely using AI, conceptualised by Teen Bandar and voiced by Piyush Mishra. The film follows siblings across continents staying connected through Rakhi gifts, and was produced with AI-generated visuals and no physical shoot.

  • Brand: FNP (Ferns N Petals)
  • Agency: Teen Bandar
  • Voiceover: Piyush Mishra
  • Production: entirely AI-generated visuals, no physical shoot
  • Personalisation: dynamic versions insert the sender's or recipient's name into the voiceover

A Human Voice Anchoring Synthetic Visuals

The most telling production choice is what was not automated: the visuals are entirely AI-generated, but the voice is Piyush Mishra's, an actor whose delivery is distinctive enough to carry emotional weight on its own. For a festival film built on sibling sentiment, that split is a practical answer to AI video's current weakness, keeping the performance element human while using generation for the settings and scale that a shoot across continents would otherwise require.

Personalisation as the Reason to Go Synthetic

Dropping a sender's or recipient's name into the voiceover is the part that a conventionally shot film simply could not do at scale, and it reframes the AI decision as more than a cost saving. Gifting is inherently one-to-one, so a film that can address the specific person receiving it lines up with the product in a way a single broadcast cut cannot, pointing at where AI-generated advertising is most defensible in India right now: not replacing the shoot for its own sake, but enabling variant volume that was never previously affordable.
