Enamor Is Using WebEngage To Join Its Shop Floor To Its Inbox

Enamor has partnered WebEngage to connect its online and offline customer journeys, across product discovery, browsing, cart activity, checkout and what happens after a purchase.
- Brands: Enamor, the innerwear label, and WebEngage, the customer engagement platform
- Channels: email and WhatsApp
- Live: a browse abandonment journey for shoppers who viewed products without adding to cart, sending WhatsApp first and email after
- Planned: cart abandonment and checkout abandonment journeys
- Offline to online: a journey connecting in-store purchases to digital follow-up
- Festive calendar: campaigns across Independence Day, Onam and Raksha Bandhan, with regional personalisation
What Enamor Is Connecting
Two halves of a shopper that most retailers still treat as different people. Someone who buys in a store and someone who browses on the site generate separate records, so the follow-up to an in-store purchase has historically been nothing at all. The offline-to-post-purchase journey is the piece of this worth watching, because it is the harder one to build and the one that changes what a brand can say next.
Sandra Daniels, chief marketing officer at Enamor, said the partnership is helping the brand move from individual communications to more relevant, journey-led experiences.
What The Channels Are Doing
Different jobs. WebEngage says WhatsApp has emerged as the stronger conversion channel while email supports reach and top-of-funnel engagement, which is why the browse abandonment journey leads on WhatsApp and follows with email rather than the other way around.
Shreya Trivedi, vice president of customer success and business operations at WebEngage, said that by combining the immediacy of WhatsApp with the reach of email, Enamor is creating more timely and relevant experiences.
No conversion or revenue figures have been published, only a statement that early campaigns generated both.
