Krishnan Sundaram, Chief Growth & New Business Officer at Bajaj Electricals

Bajaj Electricals has appointed Krishnan Sundaram as its Chief Growth & New Business Officer, effective 11 August 2026.

  • New role: Chief Growth & New Business Officer, Bajaj Electricals, effective 11 August 2026
  • Previous role: CEO, Vini Cosmetics (KKR-owned)
  • Earlier role: VP & Business Head, Functional Nutrition (Horlicks and related brands) at HUL
  • Career: Nearly two decades in marketing and category management with P&L responsibility across Detergents, Tea and Nutrition at HUL
  • Status: Approved by Bajaj Electricals' board and designated Senior Management Personnel

A Career Built On Brand P&L

Sundaram left HUL in 2024, where his last role saw him take charge of the Functional Nutrition portfolio, including Horlicks, at the point HUL was completing its purchase of GSK's consumer business. He led the roughly Rs 4,500-crore end-to-end P&L for that portfolio, including its integration into HUL, before a brief break and then joining Vini Cosmetics as CEO.

From Cosmetics CEO To Growth Officer

The move from running a standalone cosmetics business to a group-level growth and new-business mandate at Bajaj Electricals brings a marketer with heavy FMCG category-management and integration experience into a company built primarily around appliances and EPC. That combination, brand-building discipline paired with large-scale P&L ownership, is the specific profile a legacy manufacturing business tends to reach for when it is trying to build a new-business function rather than simply run its existing categories.
