Shrirang Deodhar, formerly Senior Manager, Music Marketing at Saregama India

Shrirang Deodhar has moved on from Saregama India, where he most recently served as Senior Manager, Music Marketing.

  • Outgoing: Shrirang Deodhar
  • Role: Senior Manager, Music Marketing, Saregama India
  • Experience: over 15 years across music, entertainment and media
  • Previously: Shemaroo Entertainment, Discovery Inc, BIG FM, MullenLowe Lintas Group and Ogilvy & Mather

Fifteen Years Across Music and Media

Deodhar described his time at Saregama in terms of the intersection it sat at, writing on LinkedIn that he had the privilege of working at the intersection of music, culture and marketing, across artists, languages, genres and audiences.

His career before Saregama moved between broadcast and entertainment, at Shemaroo Entertainment and Discovery Inc, and radio, at BIG FM, before an earlier spell in mainstream advertising at MullenLowe Lintas Group and Ogilvy & Mather. That combination of agency-side marketing training followed by more than a decade inside media and entertainment companies is a common path for marketers who move from selling other people's products to marketing entertainment content and catalogues directly.
