- Appointee: Nandita Sinha

- At Myntra: led the platform after it achieved EBITDA profitability in 2024, overseeing growth and market share
A Profitability Record Moving Into Quick Commerce
The relevance of the Myntra track record is fairly precise. Sinha led that business through and past the point where it turned EBITDA profitable, which is the exact transition quick commerce is now under pressure to make.
Instamart operates in the most capital-intensive corner of Indian e-commerce, where dark stores, delivery fleets and discounting have kept unit economics under strain across the category. Hiring someone whose most cited achievement is running a consumer internet business on the profitable side of that line is a legible signal about what the mandate is.
What the Outgoing CEO Leaves
Sriharsha Majety, Managing Director and Group CEO of Swiggy, welcomed Sinha as one of India's most accomplished consumer internet leaders and pointed to the vision, customer obsession and operational rigour she brings.
He was also specific about what Jha had delivered, saying he guided the platform through a pivotal era of growth, doubled down on Instamart's differentiation with launches including Noice, and steadily improved the contribution margin journey. Majety said Jha had been instrumental in scaling Instamart through a critical growth phase, building a high-performing culture and leaving the organisation in a solid, well-run state.
The phrase worth noting there is contribution margin. It is the metric that sits between gross margin and profitability in quick commerce, and naming it in a farewell note is a fair indication of what the business is being measured on.
Sinha said she has long admired what the team at Instamart has built, describing it as a business with a strong customer-first culture, great talent and significant opportunities ahead, and said Instamart sits at the heart of how India shops for its everyday needs.
