Advertising intensity at the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 rose sharply per match even as total ad volumes declined, according to a report by TAM Sports.

  • Ad volume per match: Up 39% versus the 2023 edition
  • Total ad volumes: Down 26% versus 2024, as India missed the semi-finals
  • India-match premium: Matches involving India drew 58% higher ad volumes than non-India fixtures
  • Advertiser count: Up from 22 in 2024 to 31 in 2026, a 41% rise
  • Top advertiser: Google, with 16% of total ad volumes, followed by Coca-Cola India and Amway India Enterprises at 11% each
  • Leading category: Personal Care/Health & Wellness Products and Biscuits, each at 15% of ad volumes

Fewer Matches, Sharper Spends

The top five advertisers together accounted for 55% of total advertising volumes in 2026, up from 48% in the previous tournament, with no overlap between the top five advertisers of 2024 and 2026. Short-format commercials of 11 to 20 seconds dominated breaks, making up 53% of all commercials aired. The report noted that India's early exit curtailed total inventory even as per-match intensity strengthened, underlining the outsized role Indian fixtures play in driving commercial demand for women's cricket.
