Experience: Nearly 30 years across consumer goods and healthcare, spanning North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and the Middle East
Countries lived and worked in: India, Singapore, Australia, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Thailand and the United States

A Growth Mandate For A Key Region

In his new role, Wasan will lead Diageo's commercial growth agenda, expand market opportunities and drive business performance across Asia Pacific. The appointment comes as Diageo sharpens its focus on the region, aiming to strengthen commercial execution and unlock new growth opportunities.

Three Decades Of P&L Across Four Continents

Wasan's P&G career included end-to-end profit and loss responsibility across large-scale operations, along with oversight of merger and acquisition businesses and joint ventures, experience spanning business strategy, brand building, innovation and organisational transformation. Having lived and worked in eight countries, his appointment gives Diageo an APAC lead whose track record already spans much of the region he is now being asked to grow.
