Archies Diwali Campaign Puts An Elephant Parade Sculpture At The Centre

The Archies Diwali campaign, 'A Gift That Keeps Walking', is a digital film built around the brand's tie-up with Elephant Parade, the art brand and social enterprise from Thailand that works on elephant welfare. It argues that a good gift keeps giving after the festive season ends.

The Archies Diwali Campaign Film
A small grey baby elephant comes to life when a diya flickers in the dark. As light reaches it, colour and floral patterns spread across its body, a diya lights up with each step, rangoli forms behind it and fireworks fill the sky. It ends as a painted sculpture, handed over as a Diwali gift to a delighted recipient.
The film is on the Archies YouTube channel under the title 'This Diwali, Let Happiness Find Its Way Home'.
The Story Of Mosha
The campaign also carries the story of Mosha, an elephant who lost part of her leg after stepping on a landmine and became the first elephant in the world to walk on a prosthetic leg. Her journey inspired Elephant Parade, and the film's end card makes that link, giving the festive tie-up a purpose beyond the sale.
What Archies Said
Varun Moolchandani and Hanisha Gandhi, executive directors, Archies, said Diwali is when people show love through thoughtful gestures, and that "gifts carry emotions and memories". They said the brand wanted a story about the happiness a meaningful gift can bring into someone's home.
Why It Matters For Archies
Archies brought Elephant Parade's sculptures to India in September, so this film puts that range in front of Diwali gift buyers. It also continues the brand's run of occasion-led storytelling for a card and gift retailer whose business follows the calendar.
