A Career Built In P&G's Global HR Function
Thadathil's appointment draws on a career spent almost entirely inside P&G Human Resources, spanning more than 16 years across Singapore, the United States and Southeast Asia. His roles have touched commercial teams, manufacturing plants and country-level HR functions, giving him exposure to both the people side of the business and its operating end.
In his most recent assignment, Thadathil led business operations across Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam, oversaw Olay's regional business, and served as the Singapore Site HR leader for the company's APAC headquarters. That combination of country leadership, brand-level HR and site responsibility marks him out as an HR executive with broad operating exposure across the region.
A Board-Level Appointment
Gillette India's board approved the appointment at its meeting on July 30, according to the company's regulatory filings. Thadathil will hold the position of Additional Executive Director until the company's 42nd Annual General Meeting, at which point his continuation on the board would ordinarily come up for shareholder approval.
