Milinda Weerasinghe Joins Sampath Bank As CMO

Milinda Weerasinghe, Chief Marketing Officer at Sampath Bank

Milinda Weerasinghe has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer at Sampath Bank, moving into the role after three years leading marketing at Maliban Group.

From FMCG To Banking

Weerasinghe's move to Sampath Bank follows three years as Group - Head Marketing at Maliban Group. Before that stint, he spent nearly six years at Unilever, stepping down as Category Head Nutrition for Head of Unilever Food Solution in August 2023.

He takes up the Chief Marketing Officer role at Sampath Bank based in Colombo. Weerasinghe has not issued a public statement on the appointment.
