A Career Built On Business News

Bakaya's appointment brings a two-decade career in business journalism to the Jindal Steel board. She has anchored business news for NDTV Profit, ET NOW and Bloomberg TV India, three of the country's leading financial news networks, and earlier served as Consultant Anchor for India Today Group's Business Today before a stint of more than two years as Senior Editor and Anchor with the network.

Alongside her media career, Bakaya is the Founder and CEO of Ladies Who Lead, a platform she runs independently of her anchoring work.
