Sujata Names Akshaya Vasishth as CMO to Lead Appliance Growth

Sujata Appliances, a leading name in India’s kitchen and home appliance segment, has appointed Akshaya Vasishth as its new Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, he will lead marketing strategies for Sujata’s flagship mixer-grinder range, while also spearheading campaigns for the brand’s newly introduced premium small appliances, including hand blenders, breakfast appliances, and irons.


Driving Growth with Strategic Marketing Leadership

Vasishth brings more than 18 years of experience across global FMCG, healthcare, and wellness sectors. Known for his ability to scale brands through innovation and digital transformation, he has held leadership roles at reputed organizations such as Sun Pharma, AbbVie APAC, Himalaya Wellness, Hamdard Foods, and Mahindra & Mahindra. He also founded the digital health platform GCC+.

An alumnus of IIM Lucknow, Vasishth’s appointment reflects Sujata’s commitment to shaping a future-ready brand that resonates with India’s evolving consumer.


Strengthening Sujata’s Premium Play

With this strategic leadership hire, Sujata is doubling down on its efforts to expand beyond its iconic mixer-grinders. The brand has recently ventured into the premium small domestic appliance segment and is focusing on delivering innovation, durability, and user-centric design across its new product lines.

Speaking on the appointment, the company’s management stated:
