Axis Bank and Visa have launched a festive campaign featuring Shahid Kapoor, under the bank's Dil Se Open Celebrations 2026 initiative.

  • Campaign: Iss festive season, har khushi ko banao badi
  • Partners: Axis Bank and Visa
  • Music: an original festive score by Amit Trivedi
  • Support: more than 100 offers across categories, per the bank

What The Shahid Kapoor Film Does

It builds the product into a device rather than a demonstration. A child places objects inside a magical dollhouse and they appear in the real world; Shahid Kapoor, using an Axis Bank Visa Credit Card, is what makes the transformations happen.

The dollhouse works as a metaphor for festive aspiration, which keeps the card present without the film becoming an explanation of a card.

The Offer Behind The Story

Considerably more concrete. The bank and Visa list more than 100 deals across electronics, mobiles, travel and lifestyle, naming LG, Samsung and Sony, Burberry, Boss, COACH and Tory Burch, MakeMyTrip, ixigo and Air India, and vivo and OPPO.

Eligible Axis Bank Credit Cardholders on the Visa network can access discounts and EMI benefits including up to 20 per cent off, subject to terms. Arnika Dixit, Group Head for Cards, Payments and Wealth Management at Axis Bank, framed the proposition around relevance, choice and flexibility in a period when spending spreads across different needs.

Why Banks Keep Buying The Festive Film

Because the category has no product difference to show. A credit card is a rate, a limit and a set of partner offers, none of which survives thirty seconds of film, so what is sold is the occasion the card sits inside.

Anoop Manohar, Chief Marketing Officer at Axis Bank, said festivals are about celebrating the people and moments that matter, and that the campaign encourages customers to make those moments more special. The score is doing real work there: Amit Trivedi's music is what carries a card proposition into a family scene without the seam showing.
