Vineet Jain Named COO Of Reliance Retail's Fashion And Lifestyle Business
Vineet Jain has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of Reliance Retail's Fashion and Lifestyle business, taking charge of the operations function across one of the country's largest organised retail portfolios.

A Career Built On Large-Format Retail
Before V-Mart, Jain spent over 17 years with Future Group, where he held several leadership positions including CEO for North India. He was involved in building and scaling formats including Big Bazaar, Food Bazaar and FBB, led the development of the Big Bazaar GEN NXT format, and drove turnarounds at Easyday and Big Apple.
Earlier, he was part of the founding leadership team at Vishal Retail, now Vishal Mega Mart, and began his career in the textile and financial services industries.
That is an unusually specific fit for the mandate. The Future Group years cover exactly the problem Reliance Retail's fashion business faces at scale: running large-format stores across a wide network where operational discipline, rather than merchandising alone, decides whether the economics work.
