Sambit Mohanty to Lead McCann Bangalore as Executive Vice President

McCann Worldgroup has elevated Sambit Mohanty to the role of Executive Vice President – McCann Bangalore, effective next month. The appointment follows the upcoming exit of Vishal Ahluwalia and signals a fresh leadership phase for the agency’s southern operations.

A Dual Role with Broader Impact

In this new role, Mohanty will lead both business and creative functions for the Bangalore office. His expanded responsibilities reflect McCann’s ongoing focus on integrated leadership, combining strategic direction with creative excellence.

Based in Bangalore, Mohanty will report directly to McCann India’s national leadership team. The group is headed by Prasoon Joshi, who welcomed the appointment.
