Pradeep Yadav, head of operations at Snabbit

Snabbit has appointed Pradeep Yadav head of operations, as the quick home services platform prepares for its next phase of expansion across India.

  • New role: Head of Operations, Snabbit
  • Joins from Klydo, the quick fashion commerce platform he co-founded
  • Earlier: leadership roles at Udaan and Flipkart; 15 years across supply chain, operations and consumer internet
  • Succeeds Vikas Choudhary, who led operations for 18 months and now moves to new businesses and emerging opportunities
  • Scale: over one crore lifetime jobs completed, with more than 1.15 lakh jobs recorded in a single day

The Number That Explains The Hire

Snabbit has crossed a crore of lifetime jobs and has done more than 1.15 lakh in one day. Its stated long-term target is a million households served daily. That gap, roughly a factor of nine on peak-day volume, is the entire brief.

Getting there is not a demand problem. Founder and CEO Aayush Agarwal has been explicit that the challenge is the operating engine rather than the order book, and that scaling supply chains is what Yadav brings.

Pradeep Yadav, A Founder Taking An Operating Job

Yadav's last role was co-founder of Klydo, a quick fashion commerce platform. Before that he was in leadership at Udaan and Flipkart. So the shape of the career is: large-platform operations, then founding something, then back into a functional leadership seat at someone else's company.

That is an increasingly common move in Indian consumer internet and worth reading without euphemism. A founder who has run a quick-commerce operation at small scale and then chooses a head-of-operations role at a larger one is bringing something specific: the experience of building the machinery from nothing, plus a realistic sense of where it breaks. Agarwal named both, citing Yadav's supply chain scaling alongside his founder experience.

The Predecessor Is Not Leaving

Vikas Choudhary, who built the operations function over the last 18 months, moves to lead new businesses and emerging opportunities inside Snabbit, and will support Yadav through the handover.

Announcements phrase this kind of transition generously as a matter of course, so the part worth noting is the structure rather than the wording. Keeping the person who built the system while bringing in someone to industrialise it is a specific choice, and it only works if the two mandates stay genuinely separate.

For a services platform, the reliability question is the brand question. Every job that goes wrong is a customer telling people about it, and no amount of marketing outruns an operation that cannot deliver at the volume it has promised.
