OMD Worldwide, part of Omnicom Media Group, has introduced a bold new positioning, "We Create What’s Next", alongside a refreshed brand identity. The update reflects OMD’s commitment to helping brands navigate an evolving media landscape and drive business growth in an increasingly dynamic market.

A New Era for OMD

The new positioning establishes OMD as a forward-thinking media partner, equipped with the expertise, technology, and scale to help brands stay ahead. It highlights the agency’s ability to understand how consumers discover, engage, and transact with brands, especially with the rise of retail media, connected TV, influencer ecosystems, and AI-driven search.

As part of the refresh, OMD has introduced an updated red logo, developed in collaboration with Canva, giving a modern twist to its classic brand identity.

Leadership on the Evolution of OMD

OMD CEO George Manas shared his perspective on the agency’s evolution, stating:

"‘We Create What’s Next’ is a clear message to our teams, our clients, and the industry. We are building on our legacy of innovation to redefine how brands can connect with consumers in the next decade. Achieving this requires deep collaboration between agencies, clients, and the wider marketplace. OMD will tap into Omnicom’s strengths in AI, data, technology, commerce, and connected TV to develop creative media solutions that build brands and drive business growth."

The new positioning was introduced during a global town hall, streamed live to 14,000 OMD employees across 100+ countries. Manas also highlighted OMD’s strong business performance in 2024, with the agency securing $1.8 billion in new business. Recent client additions include Gap Inc., Michelin, AliExpress, and Turkish Airlines.

What This Means for OMD India

Anisha Iyer, CEO of OMD India, described the rebrand as a defining moment for the agency:

"OMD’s new era is a bold reflection of who we are. Creativity and innovation have always been in our DNA, and this repositioning allows us to transform our clients' businesses in more impactful ways, creatively, culturally, and commercially. ‘We Create What’s Next’ isn’t just a tagline; it’s how we operate, push boundaries, and create meaningful change. In India, we are excited to bring this vision to life for our clients and partners.”

With this refreshed identity and vision, OMD Worldwide is setting the stage for a new chapter, one that promises collaboration, creativity, and innovation at the heart of brand success.
