Krishma Solanki Elevated To Senior Director At Publicis Groupe India

Krishma Solanki has been elevated to Senior Director at Publicis Groupe India, a step up after five years with the group and roughly fifteen in corporate communications, public relations and media.
- New role: Senior Director, Publicis Groupe India
- Tenure: with the group since July 2020
- Remit: corporate communications across Publicis Media India and Publicis Digital Experience (PDX) India
- Agencies covered: Zenith, Starcom, Performics, Spark Foundry, Publicis Global Delivery, Publicis Commerce and PMX
A Remit That Spans Most Of The Group
The elevation does not narrow her brief. Solanki continues to work across both Publicis Media India and PDX India, which between them account for a large share of the group's Indian footprint.
The agency list attached to that remit is unusually long for a single communications lead. Zenith, Starcom, Spark Foundry and Performics sit on the media side; Publicis Global Delivery, Publicis Commerce and PMX cover delivery, commerce and the group's data and technology practice. Each carries its own client roster, its own new business cycle and its own set of stories to place.
Fifteen Years Across Agency, Studio And Newsroom
Solanki joined Publicis Groupe in July 2020 from Culture Machine Media, where she was Chief Manager and corporate communication lead. Before that she worked at Moe's Art and Hill+Knowlton Strategies, and earlier at Walt Disney World, India Forums and ABP News.
It is a route through most of the places a communications career in India can start: a global PR consultancy, a digital content studio, an entertainment business and a newsroom. Corporate communications inside a holding company draws on all four, which is a large part of why the path is a common one.
The Note She Wrote
Marking the move on LinkedIn, Solanki thanked Supraja Srinivasan for support and guidance, along with her team, and acknowledged her twenty-month-old daughter.
