AJIO Signs Ahaan Panday For A Festival That Will Not End

AJIO has named actor Ahaan Panday as its new brand face, debuting the association with a festive campaign called Festival Is Festivalling. The Script Room conceptualised and wrote it.
- Brand: AJIO, the fashion and lifestyle platform
- Signed: actor Ahaan Panday
- Campaign: Festival Is Festivalling, for the 2026 festive season
- Agency: The Script Room, which conceptualised and wrote it
- What it covers: Ganpati, Navratri, Pujo, Dussehra and Diwali, read through a fashion lens
- Tied to: the AJIO All Stars Sale from 7 October, with prices already live on the platform
- Alongside: an expanded fashion assortment, the introduction of AJIO RUSH, wider serviceability and simplified returns
Why Festival Is Festivalling Is A Better Line Than It Looks
Because it describes a real scheduling problem rather than a mood. The Indian festive run is five or six occasions in ten weeks, each with its own dress code and its own set of people who will see you, and a fashion platform is one of the few businesses for which that sequence is the entire proposition.
Most festive advertising picks one occasion and makes a film about family. Naming the pile-up instead is closer to how the season is actually experienced, and it gives the campaign somewhere to go every fortnight rather than once.
What Signing AJIO's Face To The Sale Does
Fuses the brand and the promotion, which is unusual and risky. An ambassador announcement normally sits apart from a discount event so the brand keeps its distance from the price; here the debut is the sale, which buys attention now at the cost of the signing reading as a sale asset later.
What Was Said
Ahaan Panday said AJIO has always been a brand that makes fashion feel exciting, effortless and personal, and that being able to express yourself through what you wear is the idea he likes. An AJIO spokesperson said Panday represents a new generation of Indian consumers who are expressive, fashion-forward and constantly evolving. Ayyapan Raj, founder of The Script Room, said that with Panday on board AJIO moves into the next stage of the brand journey.
