Whirlpool of India has launched a three film campaign for Whirlpool Luxuriem, its range of premium four door refrigerators, bringing the brand's long running jingle back in a new arrangement.

  • Brand: Whirlpool of India, for the Luxuriem four door refrigerator range
  • Agency: Creativeland Asia, Delhi
  • Theme: Simply Peerless
  • Films: three, one for each of intelligence, adaptability and design
  • Features shown: Freshness Detection Technology, a convertible refrigerator mode, and Obsidian Interiors with Quad Theatre Lighting

What The Whirlpool Luxuriem Films Actually Do

Each film takes one feature and places it inside an ordinary domestic situation rather than demonstrating it. There is no cutaway to a product rig, no voice explaining a sensor, no on screen callout walking through a specification. The feature is simply the reason a small moment in a home resolves the way it does.

That is a deliberate and slightly risky choice in a category that usually sells on the demo. Refrigerator advertising in India leans on the opened door, the crisper drawer and the number of days a vegetable stays fresh, because those are the claims a salesperson repeats on the shop floor. Dropping the demo asks the film to carry the brand and the showroom to carry the proof.

The Jingle Is The Continuity Device

Bringing back a jingle for a premium launch is an unusual pairing. Premium ranges normally arrive with a new sonic identity to signal a step up, and the jingle here does the opposite: it ties an expensive new product to the version of the brand people already have in their heads.

For a household buying its first four door refrigerator, familiarity is doing real work. The purchase is infrequent, expensive and hard to compare across brands, so the reassurance of a tune someone has known for years is not nostalgia for its own sake.

What The Teams Said

Nakul Tewari, vice president for marketing at Whirlpool of India, framed the insight as true luxury being defined by experiences that understand how people live rather than by complexity, and said every Luxuriem innovation starts with a real problem in a real home, with the technology working quietly in the background.

Mayur Chandra, office head and chief business officer at Creativeland Asia Delhi, said the aim was a world where luxury feels aspirational yet completely at home, with the refrigerator premium but the people and their relationships real. Ketki Karandikar, executive creative director at Creativeland Asia Delhi, said the films bring the innovations to life through warm, slice of life storytelling. More campaigns.
