Arnya RealEstates Fund Advisors has appointed Vishal Gupta as chief investment officer, to lead its commercial real estate investment strategy.

What Vishal Gupta Brings
Experience of the whole cycle, including the end of it. Managing exits is the part of institutional real estate that separates a fund that raised money from a fund that returned it, and twenty years inside one group means he has seen the same assets through more than one market.

Gupta said commercial real estate is increasingly becoming an institutional asset class, with opportunities to create value through disciplined underwriting.
That word, underwriting, is the tell. The remit spanning debt, preferred capital and equity gives him three ways to act on that rather than one.
