Uniqlo Sends Its Fleece Campaign Out With Two Very Different Days

Uniqlo India has launched its Uniqlo Fleece campaign for autumn and winter, built around two ambassadors with very different days.
- Brand: Uniqlo India
- Ambassadors: Kriti Sanon and Jasprit Bumrah
- Positioning: within the brand's LifeWear philosophy
- Media: print, digital, outdoor and in-store material
- Palette: natural, olive, navy, off white, dark brown, pink and wine
How The Uniqlo Fleece Campaign Is Divided
Kriti Sanon carries the at-home-and-out register, in the Fluffy Yarn Fleece Jacket, the Pile Lined Fleece Relaxed Cardigan and the Windproof Fleece Reversible Full-Zip Hoodie. The film above is the Sanon film.
Jasprit Bumrah carries the on-the-go register, in the Fleece Full-Zip Jacket, the Bi-Colour Fleece Zip Jacket and the Windproof Fleece Full-Zip Hoodie. The split is by routine rather than by product tier, which is the more useful way to divide a range where most items do the same job.
Why A Single Fabric Gets A Campaign
Fleece is a difficult thing to advertise in India, where winter is short in most of the country and barely arrives in much of it. The category cannot be sold on severity of weather, so it has to be sold on frequency of use.
That is what the two-routine structure is for. Showing the same fabric across a morning at home, a day out and time outdoors makes the argument about how often a garment earns its place rather than how cold it gets.
What Uniqlo Said
Nidhi Rastogi, Marketing Director at Uniqlo India, said the intention was to evolve a LifeWear essential combining warmth, comfort and functionality, and that the two ambassadors bring the collection's versatility to life through their distinct everyday moments.
No agency credits were issued with the campaign. More campaigns.
