OMD India has been awarded the integrated media mandate for Ventura, the flagship retail investment services brand of Ventura Securities, following a competitive multi-agency pitch.

  • Agency: OMD India, part of Omnicom Media
  • Scope: media strategy, planning and execution
  • Client: Ventura Securities, a SEBI-registered financial services provider headquartered in Mumbai, and a member of NSE, BSE, MCX, NCDEX, NSDL and CDSL
  • Won on a connected, full-funnel approach built on audience intelligence and adaptive planning
  • Supported by Omni, Omnicom Media’s marketing intelligence platform, and Acxiom Real ID

Why OMD India’s BFSI Record Decided It

The win strengthens OMD India’s position in BFSI, underpinned by expertise in investor behaviour, financial decision-making journeys and the media habits of modern traders.

Financial services is the category where media planning is least about reach. A broking customer is acquired over weeks of reading, comparing and hesitating, and the plan has to be present through all of it rather than loud at the start. Agencies win these pitches on evidence of having sat through that cycle before.

What Ventura Is Actually Buying

Manu Monga, director at Ventura, said the firm’s evolution from a brick-and-mortar brokerage to an omnichannel investment platform has been driven by a focus on a best-in-class do-it-yourself digital experience, and that the next phase needed an agency with category expertise and advanced media capability.

That sentence contains the actual brief. A brokerage that has moved from branches to an app has changed who it is talking to, from a customer who wanted advice to one who wants tools, and those two people do not read the same media or respond to the same argument.

The Technology Part Of The Pitch

Anisha Iyer, chief executive of OMD India, said today’s investors operate amid constant information flow and rising expectations, and that growth in the category demands relevance, trust and precision rather than visibility.

Omni handles connected planning across audiences, channels and outcomes, while Acxiom Real ID powers the identity layer. In a category where the cost of acquiring a funded account runs high, identity resolution is less a feature than the thing that decides whether the media budget is spent twice on the same person.
