Mamonde Names Nitanshi Goel As First India Brand Ambassador

Mamonde has appointed actor Nitanshi Goel as its first brand ambassador in India, two months after the Korean skincare brand launched here.
- Brand: Mamonde, from the Amorepacific Group
- Ambassador: Nitanshi Goel, the brand's first in India
- Launched: exclusively on Nykaa, August 2026
- Philosophy: Let Your Skin Bloom
What Nitanshi Goel Is Being Signed For
Entry into a younger room. Paul Lee, Managing Director and Country Head at Amorepacific India, said India's beauty consumers are evolving quickly and that the relevance of Korean beauty among young people continues to grow, calling the actor the face to introduce the brand to the next generation.
Goel, known for her breakout performance in Laapataa Ladies, said what drew her was a message that felt personal, and that skincare should be about discovering what makes a person feel their best.
Why The Timing Matters
Because the brand is two months old in this market. An exclusive Nykaa launch in August 2026 gives distribution and a data trail but not fame, and an ambassador is the standard instrument for buying the second thing once the first is in place.
Mini Sood Banerjee, Deputy Director at Amorepacific India, framed the opportunity as bringing the brand closer to young consumers through campaigns and conversations that feel relevant, from products for specific concerns to everyday routines.
What The Brand Is Actually Selling
Targeted formulations rather than a single hero product. The Rose HA range of serum and sunscreen is positioned on hydration, the Peony BHA range on pore care and sebum management with UV protection, and a leave-on Liquid Mask combines gentle exfoliation with glow.
That is a considered-purchase structure in a category where Korean beauty has largely been sold on novelty, and it puts more weight on the ambassador to carry a philosophy rather than a product claim.
