Mahesh Muralidhar Pai, appointed managing director and chief executive of South Indian Bank

South Indian Bank has appointed Mahesh Pai as managing director and chief executive officer. Mahesh Muralidhar Pai takes charge on 1 October.

What Mahesh Pai Is Being Asked To Do

Chairman Jose Joseph Kattoor said Pai brings a combination of banking expertise, business leadership and experience in driving strategic initiatives, and that his leadership will matter in strengthening execution, deepening customer relationships and accelerating the bank's digital and business transformation. Pai said his focus would be on driving the businesses, pursuing growth opportunities with discipline, and strengthening capabilities for a rapidly evolving financial landscape.
