Illusion Aligners has partnered with the film Nayyi Navelli, starring Yami Gautam, on a digital film for the clear aligner brand.

  • Brand: Illusion Aligners, from Laxmi Dental Limited
  • Film: Nayyi Navelli, starring Yami Gautam
  • Format: a digital film running across social media platforms
  • Range: extended with Illusion Aligners Teen

What The Illusion Aligners Film Does

It puts the product in a family. Yami Gautam appears describing how the teeth of an entire household can be straightened with the aligners, which the brand states are ultra-clear, FDA 510(k) cleared and carry an international warranty.

That is a specification read out by an actor, which is an unusual register for a film tie-up and tells you the job is education rather than image.

Why The Category Needs The Awareness

Because the alternative is still the default. Clear aligners have grown in recent years and more patients now consider them against traditional braces, but the decision begins in a dental clinic, where the brand has no voice.

Sameer Merchant, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at Laxmi Dental, said cinema offers a platform to take conversations about smile, confidence and modern dental solutions beyond the clinic and into everyday consumer culture.

What A Film Partnership Buys Here

Context more than reach. A healthcare product sold through practitioners has to become a thing people ask for by name, and association with a film places it in a conversation about appearance that the category otherwise has to start cold.

The extension into Illusion Aligners Teen points at where that awareness is meant to land: a decision made by a parent, for a patient who will not be the one booking the appointment.

The claims being carried are unusually specific for a consumer film. An FDA 510(k) clearance and an international warranty are regulatory and commercial facts rather than advertising lines, and putting them in an actor's mouth is a bet that the category is still at the stage where reassurance sells harder than aspiration.

Laxmi Dental states the digital film is running across social media platforms, which keeps the association working past the film's own release window.
