What Vishakha Khattri Fills In
A specific hole in the leadership team, by the agency's own account. Rohit Dhamija, founder, CEO and creative director of Goodness of Design and Digital, framed the appointment as filling an important gap: someone who can translate ambition into action through implementation, client management and business leadership.
"Vishakha brings a strong understanding of brands, creative businesses and the relationships that help both grow," he said, adding that her experience and curiosity make her a natural fit for what the agency is building as it enters its next phase of growth. Her eleven years span Leo Burnett, Webchutney, DDB Mudra, FCB Ulka and Godrej Creative Lab, on brands including Thums Up, SBI, Horlicks, Red Bull, The Times of India, Meesho, Godrej Foods, Dabur and KFC.
Why She Left The Networks
Her own explanation is unusually direct about what a decade inside large agency groups does to appetite.
"What drew me to Goodness of Design and Digital was honestly the people," Khattri said. "There was a certain goodness in the way they thought about the work, but also in the kind of place they wanted to build. After spending years in larger networks, I wanted to be somewhere that felt hungry and curious again. Where people really care about the work, question things, get their hands dirty, and want to make something that actually connects with people." She added that the appeal was the chance to build not just brands but a team and a culture. Independent shops in India have been recruiting on precisely that pitch, and increasingly winning with it.
