Gatha Dhingra, brand strategy lead at Snitch

Gatha Dhingra has joined fashion and lifestyle brand Snitch as brand strategy lead, her latest move in a marketing career built across fashion, beauty and lifestyle.

  • Joins from Myntra, where she was manager, brand marketing, from August 2024 to August 2026
  • Earlier: assistant manager, brand marketing at The Good Glamm Group, August 2023 to August 2024
  • Before that: senior executive, marketing and communications at Nykaa Fashion, April 2022 to August 2023
  • Began at LBB (Little Black Book) as a brand marketing associate in July 2021
  • Master’s in fashion management from NIFT Mumbai, 2019 to 2021

What Gatha Dhingra Brings From The Platform Side

Dhingra announced the appointment on LinkedIn, describing it as a new chapter with a broader canvas for her ideas.

The useful part of her record is that three of her four employers sold other people’s brands. Myntra, Nykaa Fashion and LBB are platforms, and marketing on a platform means competing for attention against everything else in the same feed. Moving to a single brand means she now owns the thing that has to win that fight rather than running the fight itself.

Why Snitch Needs A Strategy Person Now

Her move comes as Snitch continues to build in India’s men’s fashion market, with the role focused on shaping strategy as the brand works on its positioning and reaches a wider consumer base.

Men’s fashion online is the category where discounting is easiest and differentiation is hardest, because the product cycle is fast and the assortment is copyable within weeks. A brand that has grown on speed and price eventually has to say what it stands for, and that is a strategy hire rather than a performance one.

A Cross-Category Background

She arrives with experience spanning fashion, e-commerce, beauty and lifestyle.

Beauty is the interesting entry on that list. It is the category that has been most disciplined about brand building in India over the last five years, largely because the product margins allow it, and someone who has worked inside that discipline brings a vocabulary most fast-fashion marketing teams do not have.
