Bark Out Loud Builds A Campaign On How Little Effort A Dog Makes

Bark Out Loud by Vivaldis has launched Effortlessly Premium, a campaign that argues complete pet nutrition is the easiest premium decision in the house.

  • Brand: Bark Out Loud, by Vivaldis
  • Campaign: Effortlessly Premium
  • Featuring: Kalki Koechlin, with her dog Bruno
  • Product in frame: Bark Out Loud Salmon and Turkey
  • Live on: Instagram, Facebook and YouTube

How Effortlessly Premium Is Constructed

The film runs two routines against each other. Kalki Koechlin works at wellness: the gym, yoga, pickleball, carefully considered food. Bruno does none of it, eats from a bowl, and is visibly thriving.

The comparison is funny because it is unfair, and it is persuasive for the same reason. The viewer is invited to resent the dog slightly, and the resentment carries the product claim without the product having to make it.

Why This Beats The Usual Pet Food Argument

Premium pet food advertising generally runs on ingredient lists and veterinary reassurance, which asks a pet owner to study. Studying is exactly what a busy owner will not do, and the guilt of not doing it is what stalls the purchase.

Attacking the effort rather than the ingredients is a sharper line. It tells an owner that the good decision is available without the homework, which removes the obstacle instead of arguing past it.

What The Brand Said

Kunal Khanna, Chief Executive Officer of Bark Out Loud by Vivaldis, said the business started from the belief that pet parents deserve products they can trust without having to overthink it.

Devika Khanna, Business Head at Bark Out Loud by Vivaldis, described the campaign as being about making a nutritional choice for pets that is intuitive and achievable.

No agency, production house or director credits were issued with the campaign. More campaigns.
