Jain Amar, the company behind popular fashion brands Madame, Camla Barcelona, and mSECRET, has appointed Akhil Jain as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. The move reflects the group’s sharp focus on strategic transformation and future readiness.

Akhil Jain: From Legacy to Leadership

With over 20 years of hands-on experience at Jain Amar, Akhil steps into the top role with a deep understanding of the business. He’s been involved across all verticals, from brand building to retail expansion.

A NIFT graduate, Akhil has also completed executive education from global institutions like Harvard Business School and IIM Ahmedabad. His leadership blends creative vision with strategic clarity—two qualities essential for scaling a fashion brand in today’s fast-changing market.

Until this elevation, he served as Executive Director, driving innovation across brand, technology, and retail operations.

A Vision Set in Motion at Leadership Summit 2025

The announcement came during the Jain Amar Leadership Summit 2025, where the top 25 leaders of the company gathered to align on strategy. With the theme “From Vision to Execution,” the summit laid out ambitious targets for topline growth, operational alignment, and IPO readiness by 2027.

In his new role, Akhil will lead a focused transformation agenda, which includes:

  • Scaling both physical and digital retail

  • Establishing one cohesive brand voice across teams

  • Implementing the DAR model (Decision–Action–Responsibility) for stronger governance

  • Streamlining review and budgeting cycles

  • Strengthening leadership and investing in tech integration

From Functional Teams to Unified Movement

Akhil believes the future of the business lies in unity and alignment.

“This is not just a new role—it’s a new rhythm,” he said. “We’re shifting from isolated departments to a unified movement. The next era of Jain Amar will be defined by how well we bring together people, process, and purpose. I’m grateful for the trust placed in me and excited for what lies ahead.”

IPO-Ready by 2027: A Clear Mandate

The leadership shift comes at a crucial time. With IPO plans on the horizon, Jain Amar is now focused on operational excellence and smart growth. The goal is clear—strengthen its position in India’s retail fashion space while also building a stronger global footprint.
