Media Mantra Adds Abhishek Singh As A Partner In The UAE

Media Mantra Consultancy FZCO has appointed Abhishek Singh as partner in its UAE business. He keeps his existing job at the same time: he remains chief executive of Peergrowth, the Dubai-headquartered executive search firm he founded.
- Role: partner, Media Mantra Consultancy FZCO, UAE
- Working alongside: Udit Pathak, co-founder of Media Mantra Global
- Scope: strategic direction, market positioning and growth of the UAE business
- Continues as: chief executive officer of Peergrowth, the Dubai executive search firm he founded
- Experience: nearly 15 years in the UAE
Why Abhishek Singh Can Hold Two Roles
Holding a partnership in a communications firm while running an executive search business sounds like a conflict until you look at who both sell to. Executive search and strategic communications work with the same people: founders and senior leadership teams, at the same moments, on questions of reputation and positioning.
Media Mantra describes the mandates as complementary by design, and the argument is reasonable. A search firm sees which companies are hiring, restructuring or preparing for a raise, which is the same list a communications consultancy wants to be talking to.
What Media Mantra Is Buying
Nearly fifteen years in the UAE, and relationships across the region's corporate and entrepreneurial ecosystem. Udit Pathak was direct about wanting a partner who understands the pulse of the market rather than only the business, and pointed at Singh continuing to lead his own firm as a perspective that is difficult to replicate.
That last point is the real one. A partner who is also running a business in the same market is a different proposition from a hire, and it is why the arrangement is structured as a partnership. More appointments.
