HP Telecom India Appoints Garima Mishra As Chief Executive Officer

HP Telecom India has appointed Garima Mishra as chief executive officer, effective 21 October 2026.
- Company: HP Telecom India Limited, telecom distribution
- Role: chief executive officer
- Effective: 21 October 2026
- Reports into: managing director Vijay Yadav's leadership
What Garima Mishra Brings
Two careers rather than one. Ten years in technical and operational roles in the Indian Air Force came first, followed by senior sales and commercial portfolios at Diageo and Pernod Ricard, and then Apple's distribution business at Redington.
That last post is the most directly relevant. Running distribution for a premium consumer electronics brand in India is the same problem HP Telecom works on daily: margin, reach and the discipline of a channel that someone else's brand depends on.
The Brief
Market expansion, sharper operational execution and deeper brand alliances. Mishra has said the priority is strengthening relationships with vendors and stakeholders, deepening customer trust and building a resilient, growth-oriented business, building on the foundation established under Vijay Yadav.
The stated method is a combination of military precision and data-driven analytics applied to sales networks, talent and governance.
Why Distribution Is Hiring This Way
Because the job has changed. A telecom distributor once competed on logistics and credit; it now competes on data about sell-through, on partner governance, and on the ability to hold several brand relationships at once without any of them feeling secondary.
Vijay Yadav, managing director at HP Telecom India Limited, said strong businesses are built by people who can see the bigger picture while staying focused on execution, citing engineering discipline, commercial instinct and the know-how to build teams and grow partnerships with integrity.
The company also notes recognition in the Forbes 40 Under 40 list and alumni standing at the Indian Institute of Management Indore and the Indian School of Business. The stated plan is to revamp sales networks, empower talent and enforce governance as the business scales, which reads as a mandate to tighten an operation rather than to reinvent one.
