Infectious Advertising has announced the appointment of Siddharth Kumar as its new Creative Director, bringing a seasoned creative mind back into the heart of advertising after a detour into filmmaking.
With a career spanning over 15 years, Siddharth has held key creative roles at leading agencies like Ogilvy, McCann, Leo Burnett, VML, and Publicis. During his journey, he’s been instrumental in crafting campaigns for some of the world’s most influential brands including Coca-Cola, Unilever, MasterCard, Airtel, Nestlé, Vodafone, and SBI.
Before his latest role, Siddharth explored his passion for cinema—writing, directing, and producing four short films. This experience, he believes, has sharpened his storytelling sensibilities and creative vision.
Driving a Culture of Creativity
Sharing his thoughts on the new role, Siddharth said,
“My goal is to help build a culture where storytelling thrives. I believe my role is to push the envelope, stir things up, and encourage new kinds of madness.”
His approach signals a renewed focus on fresh ideas, narrative depth, and creative risk-taking at Infectious Advertising.
Leadership Endorsement
Welcoming Siddharth to the team, Ramanuj Shastry, Creative Chairman and Co-founder of Infectious Advertising, said,
“Sid has impressed me in the short time I’ve known him. He is a solid writer and a great human being. I wish him a great innings at Infectious.”
Akshay Kapnadak, Chief Creative Officer at the agency, echoed this sentiment:
“Siddharth is passionate about storytelling, curious about people, enthusiastic about the business, and has a great work ethic. I’m looking forward to seeing what we can build together.”
With Siddharth on board, Infectious is poised to push its creative boundaries and shape campaigns that connect, challenge, and captivate.
